The Lost Treasures of Krypton event is here in DC: Dark Legion. Let's talk about what you need to know.
First Ever Base Skin!
This event is similar to any monthly event, so the same rules apply as far as efficiency and what items to purchase. The one exception is that they just added the game's first base skin! And it appears they want these to be VIP items, as the cost is roughly $175 if you're very efficient or $300 USD if you brute force and buy it day one. The skin does provide a permanent bonuse of 5% HP, and it also provides a bonus of 10% ATK when equipped. I expect most serious spenders to obtain this item and I think it will definitely make an impact on the meta.
I can't say that I'm happy about this addition, despite purchasing it for myself, but we have to operate within the confines of the space FunPlus provides us. The one big piece of feedback I have here is that I wish they would give us F2P versions of the base skins that have 50% or even 25% of the stats of the paid version, so that the power creep isn't so pronounced. And as I mentioned on my video covering this topic, I think they could let the VIP (paid) version have a nicer animation on the skin itself. This way, everyone gets SOMETHING.
