How to Read This Guide
Every number below is a floor — a bare minimum for a 30-day month, not a best case. Each spend level is written for a specific baseline player, and the assumptions behind each line (battles played, wins vs. losses, how many trucks you realistically catch) are listed alongside it. Change the assumption and the number changes with it.
Shop offers are written in anvils/gems notation. The number on the left is how many World Anvil Fragments (anvils) the bundle contains; the number on the right is the Gem cost. So 3/180 is 3 anvils for 180 gems.

Non-Spenders (F2P) and Very Light Spenders
Who this baseline is for
A competitive F2P or very light spender in a competitive league — top 16, so participating in weekly league duels — who cannot break into Master 3v3, and competes but loses in events.

What to actually expect
A reasonable F2P expectation in an active league that competes but often loses should be around 526 anvils a month — and likely more, because you are going to have days where trucks return more than 1 anvil, and months where 3/180 drops in the Mystery Shop multiple times, pushing that 90/month past 100. I can't recall 30 days passing without seeing it several times.
Light Spenders to Medium Spenders
Who this baseline is for
A competitive light-to-medium spender in a competitive league — top 16, so participating in weekly league duels — who does break into Master 3v3, and competes but doesn't always win in events.

What to actually expect
A reasonable low-to-medium spend expectation in an active league that competes but doesn't always win should be around 910 anvils a month — and likely more, because you are going to have days where trucks return more than 2 anvils, and months where 3/180 drops, and where the 5/539 anvil bundle appears instead of the 3/323 bundle in the Mystery Shop multiple times, pushing that 360/month past 400. I can't recall 30 days passing without seeing it several times.
Sources Deliberately Left Out
These are real sources of anvils, but they are too unreliable or too roster-dependent to put a number on, so none of them are counted in the floors above.
The league train
There are other sources of anvils, like a successful ride on the league train, but since you can't guarantee a seat in most cases I left it out.
Worldline purchases
You can also buy anvils from Worldline, but rosters vary wildly and Worldline production cannot be accurately charted or predicted until every character is 5 red stars.
Worldline particles
Not factored in, because people's rosters are so wildly different — but you could probably rely on at least 100 anvils a month from Worldline particles if you are building a stockpile and not using those on magic eyes.
The VIP shop
The VIP shop has not been factored into monthly anvils, since 150 gems each is such an awful deal I can't recommend it for F2P or light spend. Maybe medium, if you are desperate to collect every anvil you can during a featured banner.
