Black Jaguar lore

The people of Omeyocan revere the jaguar, but the black jaguar holds special meaning. Representing inner strength and transformation, it is believed to possess a mystical power. Since the Shattering, the black jaguars have indeed taken on a strength beyond their more common kin. They seem, as well, to have developed purpose, as they stalk the enemies of the gods.
