Ixchel lore

A goddess of fertility and medicine, Ixchel is the patron of midwives and the protector of infants. Worshipers petition her not only for healthy pregnancy and delivery, but to guard against disease and enemies. Ixchel readily sheds blood in defense of the newborn, and the threats Ryven poses to Omeyocan’s people have practically transformed her into a full-fledged war goddess.
