Jackal lore

Mistrusted throughout Aaru, the jackal has long been viewed as a creature of deceitfulness and ill fortune, subject of countless tales and myths. Since the Shattering, that reputation has drawn closer to reality. While most jackals remain the mundane animals they have always been, a substantial portion are now something… other, larger and markedly more hostile.
