Shaolin Monk lore

These ascetic warriors follow an intricate combination of spiritual and martial practices dating back countless centuries. While the monks would prefer to be left alone in their ornate monasteries, pursuing education and enlightenment, when attacked or roused to defend others they swiftly become deadly adversaries. Ever more frequently since the Shattering, they must rise to the defense of Tian as a whole.
