Thracian Lion lore

A fearsome predator stalking the wilds of Olympus, the mighty Thracian lion is a symbol of kingly and divine power. Possessing fur the color of burnished gold, the lion uses both stealth and the element of surprise to hunt, springing upon its prey with a heart-stopping roar. It is said that kings capture and train these beasts to stand guard over palaces and tombs.
