Swamp Thing is a Mythic + Warrior Champion who does Spiritual damage. Swamp Thing is best used in PvP.
They can be obtained in The Bleed (Limited).
You should focus on the following transmutes for Swamp Thing: Energy Gain Bonus, HP, S DEF.
Swamp Thing's kit makes it seem like he should be a damage-dealing warrior, but it turns out that his usefulness is more as a support to keep Constantine alive, who is your true win-condition for JLD. His ultimate and first basic skill will both reduce the enemy's current Energy, which will reduce the amount of times they can attack in battle. On top of that, Swamp Thing's [Swamp] ability will create an area of effect damage reduction zone, and he will summon it to start battle. His unique legacy piece Antler Crown is a must-use for him, too, because in addition to providing passive healing over time for the duration of battle, it will further limit your opponent by reducing their ATK and Crit Rate.

Lore
Dr. Alec Holland and his wife Linda were developing a bio-restorative formula to end world hunger at an isolated facility in a swamp. When criminals tried to buy the formula, the Hollands refused. The criminals beat them and set a bomb. Alec awoke as the bomb exploded. Covered in flames and the bio-restorative formula, he ran into the swamp and sank into the waters. Days later, the Swamp Thing emerged—a creature seemingly part plant, part man. Swamp Thing took revenge on the criminals and found himself caught up in adventures battling menaces such as the mad scientist Anton Arcane. With the aid of government agent Matt Cable and Arcane's kind daughter Abigail, Swamp Thing faced the weird and supernatural for years, hoping he might one day restore his humanity.
After a final confrontation with Arcane in which Arcane died, Swamp Thing was attacked and seemingly killed by agents of the Sunderland Corporation. They took his body to their facility for analysis by the Atom's old enemy, Jason Woodrue, aka the Floronic Man. Woodrue discovered that there was no humanity for Swamp Thing to regain. Alec Holland was dead; he was just plant matter that had absorbed Holland's thoughts and believed itself to be Holland. After a business dispute, Sunderland fired Woordrue, who turned up the heat to thaw out Swamp Thing. Swamp Thing revived, read the report, and, enraged, destroyed the Sunderland Corporation before fleeing into the swamp.
In despair, Swamp Thing allowed himself to take root and let his consciousness drift. He made contact with The Green, a universal force that connects all plant life in the universe and perhaps the Multiverse. He learned he was part of a lineage of elemental guardians going back millennia. With renewed purpose, he emerged from the swamp to face a new threat: Woodrue had also connected to The Green, but the experience had driven him mad, and he was trying to destroy all animal life. Swamp Thing stopped him, reminding him that plant life and animal life need each other for balance. With a new understanding of himself, Swamp Thing's powers increased. He could now send his consciousness anywhere plant life existed. He embraced his role as Earth's elemental protector.
Matt Cable and Abby Arcane had married, but their marriage was rocky as Matt had begun drinking heavily. After crashing his car while driving drunk, a dying Matt accepted a bargain with a demonic presence. That presence was Anton Arcane, who had become a demon in Hell, and he possessed Matt's body. Seeking revenge, he sent Abby's soul to Hell and attacked Swamp Thing. However, he was unprepared for Alec's new power level, and Swamp Thing was able to fight back against his demonic powers, weakening Arcane enough for Matt to cast him out of his body back to Hell before succumbing to his injuries. Swamp Thing went to Hell to find Abby's soul and brought her back. Before long, they acknowledged that their strong friendship had evolved into love.
Abby and Swamp Thing lived in the swamp, where they built a life and had a child, with Swamp Thing's spirit possessing the body of John Constantine to conceive their daughter Tefe. They lived happily for years, but Swamp Thing's duties as Earth's guardian often clashed with his role as husband and father, causing strain. In an attempt to solve this problem, he created a duplicate body to stay with Abby and Tefe while he dealt with crises, but when he returned from a long absence, he realized his copy had taken on its own will and felt he was the better version. They battled, and Swamp Thing reabsorbed his copy, but Abby was horrified by what he had done and left him, moving to New Orleans. Abby and Swamp Thing remain friends, and the teenage Tefe is discovering her own elemental powers.
Following the battle with the Black Lanterns, Swamp Thing was corrupted and possessed by the demonic villain, Nekron. Several heroes recreated Swamp Thing from the body of Alec Holland, and he defeated Nekron before the demon could destroy all life on Earth. Swamp Thing has resumed his position as Earth's elemental guardian. More recently, he has come to realize that The Green not only ties him to all plant life on Earth, but throughout the universe and even other realities in the Multiverse. The full implications of this wide-ranging connection remain to be seen.
